Empty Bowl TO GO 2.0 is a by-appointment-only drive-thru experience held this year at The Open Door 28 Emerson Avenue in Gloucester.

During the pandemic, many people made the uncertain drive to a food pantry for the first time. On Saturday, May 7, you will follow the same route down Emerson Avenue that became a lifeline for so many during the pandemic and pick up your simple meal--soup, bread, and a cookie at The Open Door. The bowl will go home as a reminder that somewhere, someone's bowl is empty.
